FAQ
What working together actually looks like — and how to begin. If your question isn't here, book a free intro call and ask me directly.
Somatic coaching is body-based work. We go below the story — into breath, tension, and sensation — because that's where change actually happens. Rather than just analyzing what happened, we use a combination of modalities to feel into where our stories live in our bodies and learn to meet them with compassion, so long-held patterns can loosen. It's about utilizing the mind-body connection to develop the ability to stay present with what arises instead of being swept away by it.
I work with people who are:
Meditation coaching focuses on building a sustainable meditation practice — one you can actually keep. It trains the capacity to be with what's here: attention, openness, equanimity, rooted in my years of practicing Tibetan Buddhism. Somatic coaching works below the story, into breath, tension, and sensation, where change actually happens. Most people need both: the insight and the body catching up to it.
It's the practice I've developed over years of my own work: meeting the story you carry — about who you are, what happened to you — directly, feeling where it lives in the body, and loosening its grip until there's more room to be who you actually are.
No. Beginners are welcome and common. The practices I teach are simple and guided — what matters isn't sitting still or emptying your mind, it's learning to stay with yourself honestly.
I am not a therapist and I don't claim to be. Coaching and meditation are complementary to therapy, not a replacement. I want to help by creating actionable steps — practical tools and practices you can use right away, both in our sessions and in your daily life. Many clients come to me after being in therapy for a long time and finding they're not seeing change. It's one thing to know the why of a behavior — it's another thing to develop the awareness to change it. Some of my clients work with a therapist alongside our sessions, and some do not — the practices often deepen that work either way.
It's one-to-one work on the things most of us were never taught — how to argue well, stay grounded when you're triggered, say what you actually mean without needing to be right, and repair when it matters. Most people meet with me weekly or bi-weekly; we'll settle on a rhythm that fits your life.
